From 4–6 June Task Force Health Care, Innovation Quarter and the NBSO Stuttgart organized a health mission focused on regional hospitals of the German Federal States Bavaria and Baden Württemberg.

In just a few days, the Dutch delegation visited and networked with the renowned public, university and private hospitals in the region, exchanged knowledge and expertise and learned about local healthcare challenges of the federal states of Bavaria and Baden Württemberg. Additionally, they connected with potential partners, agents/distributors, customers and important decisionmakers in the German healthcare sector. Aside from gaining key insights in the procurement and purchasing structures of German hospitals, healthcare insurers and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) this trade mission facilitated long-term cooperation between Dutch and German parties to tackle shared challenges in healthcare such as hospital efficiency.
