United Kingdom | LSH Mission & Matchmaking
October 1, 2020 - October 22, 2020
Are you interested in (re-)entering the UK LSH sector? Here is a rare opportunity to find out how to access the UK’s leading health services. Talk to experts, create a tailor-made entry strategy, and meet key procurement specialists. Please join us for this exciting Digital mission.
Why the United Kingdom?
New business opportunities: In September 2019, Task Force Health Care conducted a market study in the United Kingdom (commissioned by NBSO Manchester), finding a large number of opportunities for Dutch organisations with solutions in eHealth, Medical Devices, Hospital Design & Build and Mobility & Vitality.
Now, UK sources indicate the growth of these opportunities. Health demand is expected to rise for multiple reasons:
- Due to challenges presented by COVID-19, many medical professionals had to change specialities to supplement shortages of capacity in pulmonary departments. This led to an increase in the already long waiting times for vital healthcare services and surgeries.
- Many citizens/patients were observed to avoid health facilities to minimize contamination risks of COVID-19. Unfortunately, this is likely to lead to a decrease in the early detection of diseases and conditions.
- Due to strict guidelines, travel restrictions etc. many UK hospitals have had a minimum amount of contact with suppliers. For many UK hospitals, these developments lead to a serious need for a broad range of existing solutions and new health innovations.
Therefore, this Digital mission comes at the right time. Participants benefit from the rare opportunity to meet specialists who are eager to (re-)connect with suppliers.
