🔔 New milestone to promote Dutch elderly care in China
How is health care organized in the Netherlands? Which Dutch organizations want to collaborate with China on elderly care and what is their added value? Last June our kick-off meeting for the multi-annual programme on elderly care with the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) revealed the need for a more concise and concrete proposition from the Netherlands. Especially during these digital times visibility and creating awareness is key. As a result Task Force Health Care, in cooperation with the Dutch embassy in Beijing, developed a proposition booklet for Dutch elderly care including:
- A summary of the Dutch health care system.
- The Dutch perspective on 4 elderly care related themes relevant for China:
– Prevention
– Care at home
– Integrated care
– Dementia care - The solutions of 15 Dutch LSH organizations to address the related challenges through Sino-Dutch collaboration.
📙 The booklet is available in Chinese and English. Hard copies of the Chinese booklet will be distributed by the Dutch embassy in Beijing to our existing network of key stakeholders in elderly care. Digital copies will be shared in relevant We-Chat groups, for example with participants of elderly care fairs. Read the digital booklet here: 💻 https://bit.ly/3yKfUVh
What’s next?
The booklet is an important step towards the realization of Sino-Dutch Elderly Care projects and part of the multi-annual programme on elderly care between China and the Netherlands. Based on China’s feedback on the booklet, subject-specific webinars will be organized between Dutch and Chinese stakeholders in the next months: 💻 https://bit.ly/2P0bnet
