The demand for healthcare solutions in South-East Asia is strongly increasing. Significant opportunities arise for Dutch Life Sciences & Health companies to help improve care in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Through a new strategic programme (SMM ASEAN), you can meet Key Opinion Leaders in the so-called ASEAN region, learn about current developments in the area, and promote your solutions there.

What we’ve done so far

Last year we started this programme. Since then we organized:

  • A digital mission to Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
  • Launch the Market Study Indonesia in September.
  • Appointment of  liaison Mrs. Duma Evi in Indonesia. She helps to strengthen the network of companies in Indonesia, identifies stakeholders and connects them to Dutch organizations.

The next steps

  • Building a programme website.
  • Receive an incoming delegation of highlevel stakeholders from Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia to the Netherlands this fall.
  • Organize another outbound mission to the region next spring.
