The TFHC organised a seminar & networking event together with RVO as part of the Influentials Program of the MFA. For this program, a high-level delegation (9 delegates) from Singapore came over to the Netherlands to learn more about  the Dutch approach to Healthy Ageing.

The seminar and network event, which took place at Domus Medica in Utrecht, was attended by an overwhelming amount of participants (+/- 70) from the Dutch LSH sector. The seminar started with a presentation by Erik Pentinga of TFHC about the Dutch LSH sector and its strengths; focusing specifically on the Dutch approach to Healthy Ageing. This was followed by an introductory presentation by Ms. Peh Kim Choo of the Tsao Foundation, who gave deeper insights into healthcare trends, developments and challenges in Singapore. After the Singaporean delegation had the chance to introduce themselves and their organisations, the Dutch participants had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the delegation in 20 rounds of 2 minute ‘speed dates’.

Following the speed dates, the Singaporean delegation and Dutch participants were invited to join four ‘round tables’ where they could discuss in further detail the following topics: Research and Innovative Concepts, Systems and Services for Healthy Ageing and Technologies & Devices for Healthy Ageing.

The event ended with a network reception where everyone could talk in an informal setting.
