World of Health Care 2017 (WoHC) visitors voted Usono as the winner of the Smart Solutions Award in the Fokker Terminal, the Hague. As one of 49 exhibitors Usono presented their Smart Ultra Sound Solutions to 680 healthcare professionals, including over 100 international high-level decision makers. Usono’s Smart Solutions tackle shared challenges to modernise, optimise and increase the quality, affordability and accessibility of healthcare. More than two years of research resulted in patented products, fully focused on enhancing ultrasound examination quality.
On the mainstage Usono received the World of Health Care Voucher to join a Task Force Health Care international trade mission of their choice. Jori Verbeek (Chief Technology Officer at Usono): ‘’It’s great to win this award. I haven’t thought of any international activity in particular yet. But if it’s again in the presence of Royalty we are more than happy to join!”

The congresstival World of Health Care marked the annual highlight for the Dutch life sciences & health sector. Around 680 key stakeholders consisting of industry, knowledge institutes, NGO’s, healthcare providers and the government were connected to 100+ high level decision makers in international health from Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, Kenya, Ukraine, Poland, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America.
