Join us for the Health~Holland Masterclass ‘’Driving Health through Smart & Data-driven Solutions’’ organized by Task Force Health Care in collaboration with Smart Health, Deerns Nederland, Gemeente Rotterdam, Health-RI, and Health~Holland! This Masterclass will challenge our ideas on health data (re-)use. It will bridge the gap between real-world applications of data-driven healthcare solutions and national health data infrastructure strategies. We will discuss how industry partners and public stakeholders can collaborate on making the shift towards a new health data economy for the common good.

15:30  Blue Hospital Design – How Smart enables Well-being

  • Deerns Nederland: Deerns focuses on a holistic design approach for hospitals, called the Blue Hospital integrated design. It is built on six key principles: patient centricity, employee well-being, health outcomes, cost efficiency, sustainability, and smart hospital innovation. By understanding interdependencies from the earliest design stages, it prevents budget constraints, infrastructure limitations, and ensures a sustainable building. 15:50   Transition Towards Data Availability for a Learning Healthcare System 

  • Gemeente Rotterdam: The City of Rotterdam is committed to supporting the transition from care to prevention. These efforts aim to address societal challenges and promote proactive health management. Safe and responsible data-re-use is key to tackle the societal challenges we are facing. Public and private initiatives must unite and find a common ground for the new health data economy. 
  • Health-RI: Health-RI is dedicated to improving the reuse of health data for policy, research, and innovation to achieve a learning healthcare system. Health-RI’s mission is: Better health for citizens and patientsby reusing health & life sciences datawith an integrated data infrastructureto enable data driven research, innovation, and policy. We need a paradigm shift when thinking and talking about the data economy. The European Health Data Space will be a driving force to pursue this shift. Public -private collaborations for safe and responsible data re-use for the common good is what is needed.

Participation costs

Attending this Health~Holland Masterclass is free of charge. If you are unavailable to attend the event, please unregister at least a day ahead of the event. We are obliged to charge a fee of €75 in case of a no show for venue and catering costs.
