Are you looking to learn about the latest LSH trends in the Nordics? Would you like to provide input on future activities related to the Nordics? And would you like to learn how you can leverage on the Topsector LSH and Dutch government to reconnect with key stakeholders? Then please sign up for this (free) digital meet-up on 10 December (15:30 – 16:30h / optional 30 min after talk).

Why the Nordics?

As a country with a dispersed population, Norway is ever more dependent on telemedicine solutions to contain costs and provide quality care. Like Sweden, the vast landscape caters to opportunities for Dutch eHealth and telemedicine companies. Sweden has the lowest number of hospital beds, with 2,22 beds per 1.000 people. This highlight’s Sweden’s emphasis on quickly transitioning people from hospital care to home care for rehabilitation. Denmark has set up national action plains in digitalisation aimed to nationalize telemedicine tools, to minimize pressures in hospitals and primary care. In Danish eHealth systems, interoperability issues and IT fragmentation between different levels of care present ample opportunities for Dutch Smart Solutions.

Overall, these three countries are eager to adopt new innovative solutions and share sophisticated ecosystems for research and innovation.
