In April 2026, our Dutch digital health delegation returned to Berlin to participate in DMEA 2026, Europe’s leading event for digital health. From 21–23 April, we proudly hosted the NL Lounge, serving as a vibrant hub for innovation, collaboration, and international exchange within the global health IT ecosystem.
With a strong collective presence, the NL Lounge brought together a diverse group of companies, innovators, and ecosystem partners. It provided a professional and welcoming space where Dutch organisations could showcase their solutions, connect with international stakeholders, and strengthen their position in the German and broader European markets.
This joint effort was made possible through close collaboration with our valued partners, ROM Utrecht, Amsterdam Trade and Invest and NBSO Stuttgart, continuing the strong foundation built in previous years. Together, we highlighted the strength of the Dutch digital health ecosystem and reinforced the Netherlands’ reputation as a frontrunner in digital, interoperable, and patient-centered healthcare solutions.

Germany continues to offer significant opportunities for digital health solutions, driven by ongoing investments in digital infrastructure and hospital transformation.
2. Collaboration is Essential for Market Entry
Successful expansion into Germany requires strong local partnerships, an understanding of regulatory pathways, and alignment with healthcare providers’ needs.
