How This Event Supports Your Growth
In the context of an in-depth, multi-day visit to the Netherlands, we are pleased to invite you to an exclusive network reception with Kenyan health stakeholders. This event is part of the broader Combi Track Kenya programme which focuses on strengthening technical capacity, strategic vision, and partnerships between Kenya and the Netherlands in Life Sciences & Health (LSH).
The reception brings together representatives from the county governments of Kisumu and Homa Bay, the Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK), and Southlake Medical Centre Ltd, offering a unique opportunity to explore concrete collaboration opportunities within Kenya’s public and private health sectors.
Kenya is actively transforming its health system, with clear ambitions around decentralised health governance, financing reforms, digital health, and maternal and child care. The incoming mission provides delegates with exposure to the Dutch health model, while this network reception offers Dutch stakeholders a direct platform to:
- Share Dutch expertise and solutions with those shaping Kenya’s future health system
- Connect with high-level health decision-makers and implementers
- Learn about Kenya’s reform agenda and regional priorities
- Explore opportunities for collaboration in health innovation, capacity building, and co-development
What to Expect
The reception is designed as an interactive, informal event that encourages meaningful exchange.
Participants from Kenya include:
- Kisumu County Government: Director of Medical Services, Head of Primary Healthcare, Head of Family Health, and Partnerships & Resource Mobilisation Lead
- Homa Bay County Government: County Executive Committee Member for Public Health, and Chief Officer for Medical Services
- Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK): CEO
- Southlake Medical Centre Ltd: Director/CEO
This event builds on prior in-depth sessions earlier in the week covering health governance and financing, maternal and child health, digital innovation, and strategic co-development, positioning this moment as a springboard for long-term partnerships.
