Ukraine – Netherlands | Public-Private Health Care Recovery

The Ukraine–Netherlands Public-Private Health Care Recovery Platform brings together Dutch and Ukrainian companies, healthcare organisations, knowledge institutions, NGOs and public-sector stakeholders committed to supporting the recovery and modernisation of Ukraine’s healthcare system.

Platform members and other relevant stakeholders are invited to come together to exchange the latest developments, discuss ongoing initiatives and identify concrete opportunities for cooperation.

From knowledge exchange to concrete cooperation

Throughout 2026, the Platform has continued to strengthen cooperation between Dutch and Ukrainian healthcare stakeholders. Activities have increasingly moved from knowledge exchange and market exploration towards partnerships, project development and thematic collaboration.

The Platform currently focuses on three priority areas:
Healthcare Infrastructure Development: including resilient hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, modular construction, medical logistics and project development

Rehabilitation Expertise & Equipment:
including physical rehabilitation, mental and psychosocial support, professional training, technologies and integrated care

HealthTech Solutions:
including digital health, telemedicine, remote monitoring and innovative solutions that improve access to care

These areas provide a practical framework for connecting Dutch expertise with Ukrainian priorities and developing initiatives that can be implemented, financed and scaled.

During this Platform Meeting, participants can expect:

Updates on recent Platform activities, projects and developments
Progress and next steps within the Infrastructure, Rehabilitation and HealthTech clusters
Exchange of experiences around project development, financing and implementation
Opportunities to connect with organisations offering complementary expertise
Interactive discussion on current needs, challenges and opportunities in Ukraine
Identification of concrete follow-up actions for the remainder of 2026 and beyond
The programme will combine short updates with interactive discussion and networking.
Participants are encouraged to share relevant initiatives, questions and cooperation opportunities with the Platform in advance.

Ukraine Partnership Facility

The Platform Meeting takes place on the same day as the information meeting for the fourth round of the Ukraine Partnership Facility, organised separately by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and will take place in Utrecht from 13:30 to 17:00.

The Platform Meeting provides an opportunity to connect with other healthcare stakeholders, discuss potential partnerships and exchange experiences ahead of the Ukraine Partnership Facility information meeting.
