This mission is designed for Dutch companies and organizations offering solutions in digital health, med tech with digital component and women’s health (Femtech) who are looking to enter or scale in the UK market

The UK healthcare sector is undergoing significant transformation, driven by initiatives such as the NHS England Digital Transformation Agenda and the Department of Health and Social Care Women’s Health Strategy for England. These programs prioritize innovation in: AI-driven care, Remote patient monitoring, Integrated data systems and Improved access to women’s health services. 

Regional Highlights: 

  • Leeds: Engagement with Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, visits to NHS Trust hospitals, and innovation hubs  
  • Manchester: Participation in Manchester Health Events, connecting innovators, clinicians, and investors. Optional visit to NHS ConfedExpo for broader insights on procurement, funding, and investment  

Participants will leave the mission with practical insights into NHS operations, policy priorities, and potential pathways for commercialization, grants, reimbursement, and investment. 
 

Tentative Programme Components 

The program is currently under development and will be finalized in close coordination with UK partners. 

Leeds (Day 1 & 2): 

  • Overview of NHS landscape and market entry pathways  
  • Procurement, reimbursement processes, and commercialization insights  
  • Visits to NHS hospitals and innovation hubs  
  • Networking events with clinicians, innovation leads, and investors  

Manchester (Day 3): 

  • Attend Manchester Health Events, connecting innovators, clinicians, and investors
  • Optional day: visit NHS ConfedExpo for broader insights into NHS decision-making and funding opportunities

Participation costs

The participation fee includes: 
Participation in the collective programme and site visits  
Networking events  
Lunches included in the programme  
On-the-ground support by the organising parties  

The fee excludes: travel and accommodation (international/domestic), and individual costs such as meals outside the programme or separate meetings.
