To support Dutch organizations in gaining access to the ASEAN market a trade mission (2019 Sept.) was organized for the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector, in particular, medical devices, eHealth / digital health and public health.
ASEAN is one of the fastest-growing regions in the world when it comes to health care spending. Fast economic growth, increasing prosperity, an aging population and an increase in the number of chronic diseases cause a greater demand for care. Within ASEAN, Thailand, and Malaysia have proven to be accessible markets that provide a good basis for doing business in this region and offer multiple opportunities for Dutch LSH organizations.
