In collaboration with Spark design & innovation, TFHC Partner ZiuZ Medical has won an iF Gold Award for its IRIS. The medical checking device, which was developed by ZiuZ Medical and designed by Spark design & innovation won in the ‘Medicine/Health/Care’ category of the ‘Product’ discipline. The iF Design Award has been one of the most prestigious design awards in the world since 1953.
Since the launch of the Inspector and Photon devices, ZiuZ Medical has been the market leader in the field of medical checking equipment. ZiuZ solutions check the content of automatically-dispensed medication pouches on the basis of a large number of parameters such as shape, color and size. While the Photon and the Inspector are used in large dispensing centers, the IRIS has been specially developed for the smaller (hospital) pharmacies. Spark also took this into account when designing the IRIS. According to the jury, the result was very worth of an award: “IRIS meets all of the requirements set for an ultra-accurate medical product: high-grade materials, excellent branding, outstanding color and surface finish and a high level of practicality. The numerous details that have been thought through convinced the jury that ZiuZ Medical’s IRIS is an exceptionally professional device for which no compromises have been made.”
