Once again, the world’s biggest medical trade fair MEDICA, which takes place in Düsseldorf, has provided a perfect opportunity for the Dutch Life Sciences & Health organisations in the international playing field.
For each of the four days of the fair, from 13 to 16 November 2017, specialists from all sectors of the health industry ensured that the daily intake of visitors was consistently high at the Holland Pavilion. Since 2010 the Holland Pavilion is well represented at the MEDICA. This year 29 Dutch organisations formed a prominent orange presence covering more than 300 m2! With the attendance of Secretary General Erik Gerritsen (Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sports) several pitch events and roundtable meetings gave the floor to Walloon, German and Dutch organisations to pitch their Smart Solutions. Exciting topics (keywords: digitisation and value based healthcare), which have been “electrifying” everyone in the sector no matter where they are from, provided excellent opportunity to share knowledge and stimulate business between all nationalities!
