Task Force Health Care (TFHC) has officially welcomed the Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH) into its international network. This collaboration, solidified by a signed Letter of Intent, marks the beginning of an international membership exchange between Sweden and the Netherlands. The NCSH, a cross-sectoral network based in Sweden, brings together stakeholders, organisations, projects, and expertise in the field of sustainable healthcare. Their shared goal is to create a more sustainable healthcare sector by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Building Bridges through the Health~Holland Visitors Programme
The partnership between TFHC and NCSH took root during the Health~Holland Visitors Programme (HVP) held in Rotterdam in September 2022. The NCSH actively participated in this event, which aimed to facilitate the exchange of best practices and insights among global experts in life sciences and health. It was during this programme that NCSH immersed themselves in the renowned Dutch health system, engaging in fruitful discussions on shared health challenges and smart solutions.
Solidifying collaboration through a shared vision for healthcare improvement
Since their initial connection, NCSH and TFHC have collaborated on various initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening ties between the Netherlands and the Nordic region. Notably, both organisations joined forces for the Life Sciences & Health (LSH) mission to Denmark and Sweden in March 2023. This mission, which included a delegation of eight Dutch organisations, showcased the longstanding collaboration between the Netherlands and the Nordic region in both the public and private sectors. Attendees gained invaluable insights into the healthcare systems of Denmark and Sweden, as well as the latest and future (digital) health developments.
The collaboration between NCSH and TFHC reached a significant milestone during the LSH mission when they formalised their partnership through the signing of a Letter of Intent on 7th March 2023. This momentous occasion solidified their shared vision of improving healthcare and the LSH sector in both the Netherlands and the Nordic region. Since then, NCSH and TFHC have been actively working together to strengthen their collaboration on sustainable healthcare practices.
