Valued at USD 264 billion, Canada’s LSH sector is one of the country’s largest employers. However, challenges in healthcare infrastructure and digital innovation open doors for Dutch expertise.
Strong cultural and historical ties between Canada and the Netherlands, combined with available funding programs and a decentralized healthcare system, further enhance collaboration potential.
Key opportunity areas include eHealth, elderly care, mental health, medical equipment, healthcare staffing, and improving access to primary care.
