Partner Spotlight: Invest International
Invest International serves as the Netherlands’ national promotional institute, managing funds provided by the Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance to support Dutch organisations with proven business models in expanding or relocating internationally. An amalgamation with Invest-NL is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2028. Within the Life Sciences & Health (LSH) top sector, the organisation focuses exclusively on healthcare.
Our Story
Invest International has supported several impactful healthcare initiatives worldwide:
- Ghanaian Ministry of Health: A 50% grant facilitated the purchase of 52 digital X-ray systems from Delft Imaging Systems B.V. Of these, 48 were installed in hospitals nationwide, two were placed in specially equipped vans, and two were delivered as portable units in transport cases. In addition, 16 radiological viewing stations were supplied. Together, these resources have played a significant role in reducing tuberculosis prevalence in Ghana.
- Incision B.V.: A €3 million investment was made in a medical software company specialising in surgical care. The funding aims to accelerate its international expansion, increasing access to digital support and clinical training solutions that enhance surgical team performance and operating room efficiency, thereby improving care quality while strengthening Dutch export capacity.
- Neolook: A €570,000 repayable development contribution was provided to introduce innovative neonatal and paediatric care solutions to the Southeast Asian market.
