Tover is serious about play
Tover wants to change the way the world cares. Together with care professionals, Tover strives to improve the quality of life and to create a more caring and inclusive world for people living with a cognitive challenge. They work together with care professionals, teachers, researchers and other experts on a daily basis.
Tover launched the Tovertafel in 2015. This model emerged from the PhD research of CEO and founder Hester Anderiessen Le Riche. The Tovertafel projects interactive games on any surface, like the table or floor. The games are specifically designed for the different target groups: people living with dementia and people with an intellectual disability. Tovertafel has proven to be effective at physical, cognitive, social and sensory levels. The games stimulate physical activity and social interaction. They also strengthen the relationship between care professionals and their clients. Over 5,000 care homes worldwide are using the Tovertafel.
