Remarkable week for global health innovation | Health~Holland Vistors Programme 2025!

In 2025, Task Force Health Care (TFHC) welcomed over 50 international healthcare leaders from more than 20 countries to the Health~Holland Visitors Programme. The programme aimed to showcase the Dutch Life Sciences & Health ecosystem and facilitate international knowledge exchange on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable healthcare solutions.

Through a week of site visits, knowledge sessions, and high-level discussions, participants engaged with leading Dutch public and private organisations to explore how Dutch innovation is shaping the future of healthcare

Main Activities

Site Visits & Knowledge Exchange
The programme included visits and sessions hosted by key Dutch stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, Health~Holland, the Municipality of Rotterdam, Rotterdam Square, Erasmus MC, YES!Delft, Philips, Utrecht Science Park, and ROM Utrecht Region. These visits provided hands-on insights into innovation ecosystems, public–private collaboration, and real-world healthcare implementation.

World of Health Care 2025
A central highlight of the week was World of Health Care 2025, where the international delegation connected with more than 150 Dutch entrepreneurs. The event enabled dialogue, matchmaking, and knowledge-sharing across borders and sectors.

During World of Health Care 2025, participants took part in thematic panel discussions focused on key global healthcare challenges:

  • Digital Transformation Panel
    Exploring innovations that improve accessibility, efficiency, and healthcare outcomes, with a focus on AI, data ethics, blockchain, interoperability, and collaboration.
  • Cross-Sector Collaboration Panel
    Examining how industry, academia, and government can work together effectively, highlighting trust, shared goals, human-centred approaches, and streamlined collaboration models.
  • Healthy Ageing Panel
    Addressing innovations that support longer, healthier lives through preventative care, assistive technologies, and sustainable, patient-centred solutions with measurable impact.

Concluding Visits
The programme concluded with visits to Philips, UMC Utrecht, and the Prinses Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology, demonstrating the role of strong partnerships in delivering better patient outcomes worldwide.
