Last week, we welcomed over 50 international healthcare leaders from more than 20 countries for the Health~Holland Visitors Programme 2025. It was an exciting week of international exchange, featuring site visits and knowledge sessions at leading Dutch institutions including Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport, Health~Holland, Gemeente Rotterdam, Rotterdam Square, Erasmus MC, YES!Delft, Philips, Utrecht Science Park, and ROM Utrecht Region.
From engaging discussions in Rotterdam and Utrecht to hands-on insights at YES!Delft and Utrecht Science Park, delegates explored how Dutch innovation is shaping the future of healthcare from sustainable solutions to cutting-edge digital transformation.
The week reached its pinnacle at World of Health Care 2025, bringing together the international delegation with over 150 Dutch entrepreneurs for a day of dialogue and knowledge-sharing. Concluding visits to Philips, UMC Utrecht, and the Prinses Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology demonstrated the power of partnerships in driving better patient outcomes worldwide.

- Digital Transformation Panel: Delving into innovations that improve accessibility, efficiency, and outcomes in healthcare. Panelists explored successful implementation and scaling of digital solutions, emphasising AI, data ethics, blockchain, interoperability, and collaboration.
- Cross-Sector Collaboration Panel: Examining how industry, academia, and government can work together effectively. Core ingredients identified included trust, shared goals, putting humanity at the heart of solutions, and streamlined working approaches.
- Healthy Ageing Panel: Examining innovations that support longer, healthier lives and improve quality of care for older adults. Panelists discussed approaches ranging from preventative care and assistive technologies to sustainable solutions for age-related conditions, emphasising patient-centred innovation and measurable impact.
- Healthcare Infrastructure Panel: Exploring how modern, efficient, and sustainable healthcare environments can enhance patient outcomes. Discussions highlighted best practices in hospital design, integration of advanced medical technologies, and cross-sector collaboration to create resilient and adaptable healthcare systems
