The international Life Sciences & Health sector offers a surplus of opportunities in more than 50 countries where investments and (positive) developments are currently taking place. This is a luxury position but one that requires a careful approach and strategy that starts with choices and focus. The US has been chosen as one of the focus countries and enjoys continuity in activities.

This time, led by the Secretary-General Erik Gerritsen (Min. of Health, Welfare & Sport) the Dutch LSH delegation (eHealth / Digital Health, Mobility & Vitality and  Medical Devices) visited Texas in the first week of May. 2019. This mission was a follow-up to the Texas healthcare market study (found below) and the fact-finding visit to the same region earlier that year. Furthermore, in September 2018 a US delegation from Houston and Austin successfully participated in the Health~Holland Visitors Program and the World of Health Care. With this visit, the Dutch healthcare delegation strengthened new and existing contacts in Texas and reinforced the strategic approach focused on the US.
