The RVO and the Dutch embassy in Dublin have had TFHC extensively investigate the opportunities for Dutch companies in the LSH sector in Ireland. Emphasis is placed on MedTech, Connected Health and Healthy Ageing. During this webinar, you will hear the main results from the market study. You will gain insight into the sector and the opportunities this growing market offers.  

The Irish healthcare sector is undergoing a transformation, driven by digitalisation, an ageing population, and pressure on healthcare services. The Irish government is strongly committed to digital health innovations to alleviate this pressure, here are many opportunities for Dutch companies. For instance, Ireland is betting on telemedicine, AI-driven diagnostics, remote patient monitoring and assistive technologies that enable independent living in later life, among others. The presence of a large and established tech sector with accompanying innovation and start-up climate, and highly educated English-speaking population provides a good basis for the expansion of the Irish LSH ecosystem.
