This message is to notify you of a proposed World Bank Group project in Yemen. The project, Newborn and maternal voucher project, involves a total of $20 million. The objective of this project is to  increase access to and utilization of maternal and neonatal health services in selected poor rural and urban areas in Yemen.

The project consists of two components: 1) Improving Access to Maternal and Newborn Health Services, and 2) Results-Based Monitoring, Impact Evaluation, Quality Assurance, Verification, and Project Management.

The government of Yemen has received an invitation to negotiate a grant of $20 million (the PID indicates $10 million, but the negotiations are about a $20 million grant).
